The work presented is a combination of graphic representations of feeling and emotion from a study of London. Some parts being bright and others are monotone and dark to represent the difference of feelings. Each has it's own identity and captures beauty that we all might miss when we are in a rush. The work presents itself to you; the viewer to engage and enjoy a shift of perspective and interpret each work and get out of it what makes you feel good.

Ryan McDonagh is a graphic artist working in London and Manchester. He has previously studied Graphic Design BA (hons) at the University of Brighton (2014 – 2017) and Visual Communication (MA RCA) at The Royal College of Art (2017 – 2019). He has been part of exhibitions in Stockport, Brighton and London throughout 2013 – 2019. His work depicts the beauty in the mundane, explores new ways to communicate emotion further than what we just see with our eyes and creates a psychological viewpoint for stories that aren’t always told. His work is about equality in a time when everything can seem a little bleak when in actual fact there is so much beauty to see in the smallest of details.
